Night Sanitation Worker

POSITION SUMMARY
Performs the nightly sanitation of the egg plant, egg breaker plant, or hard boiled egg processing plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works as a member of the sanitation crew in its nightly operations.
Disassembles parts of the processing equipment, sanitizes them, and reassembles them.
Washes and sanitizes all processing equipment, meeting or exceeding USDA standards.
Washes floors, walls, and bathrooms of the plant.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience
No formal education experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and Spanish (desired).
Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
The ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize tasks and projects.
Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
HAACP, GMP, and BRC experience.
Basic maintenance and electrical skills.
Certifications
No certifications required
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Operate a personal computer, telephone, calculator, facsimile and photocopier.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; bend or stoop; and talk or hear.
The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Required to work with and around chemicals.
Required to work the night shift. 5 pm-5 am Start time may be 6 pm

The noise level is moderate to loud.
The physical exertion is moderate to heavy.
Work is performed mainly in a food processing plant that ranges from 60-85 degrees Fahrenheit and is typically humid.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
