This position performs the day to day Multivac operator position of the Hard boiled processing plant:
POSITION SUMMARY Performs the day to day operations of the hardboiled egg plant:
Mainly operating the Multivac and also loading eggs onto the machine, checking, packaging, palletizing eggs, and cleaning the plant.
This position also involves loading and unloading product and supplies and moving eggs, which is done using a pallet jack or forklift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works as a member of the hard boiled egg processing plant team in its daily operations.
Knows operation of equipment and packaging.
Checks eggs after they have been cooked and peeled.
Fills out inspection and hour check paperwork.
Keeps a clean workspace and helps clean the plant when processing is finished.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Understand and program that the machine needs for proper vacuum packing Identify scheduled products to be packed Bring appropriate carts with product trays to load for packaging Verify the correct amounts of product to be packed and the correct film to use Arrange plastic rolls/films to set up the machine for packing Ensure the machine is running correctly at the correct speed for production Visually check the seal to ensure that it is tight and that no food material in the seal Properly label each package Skills/ Aptitudes 1.

Previous packaging/food processing experience.
